The Lakewood leadership team is pleased to announce the hiring of Michelle Hylton-Ramos for the position of director of nursing. Michelle will oversee the implementation of quality care for residents in the healthcare center. She will also be responsible for the development, management and mentoring of clinical team members in this level of care.

Throughout her nursing career, which spans over 20 years, Michelle has demonstrated her ability to manage team members in various settings, including hospitals and nursing homes in Virginia and North Carolina. After relocating to the central Virginia area, she recently transferred within an extensive health system to one of their sister communities. Michelle said she is excited by the opportunity presented at Lakewood.
