January 25: COVID-19 Update

The Lakewood leadership team continues to thank you for your support as COVID-19 cases are reported in the community.

We are pleased to report as of today, January 25, communal dining has been reinstated for both the second and third floor of the Health Services Building. Visitors are required to wear a surgical mask when visiting and those that are visiting COVID-19 positive residents are asked to check-in at the nurse’s station.

We are also pleased to report there are no new positive cases.

Family members who wish to visit residents on the first floor of the Rose Building may contact Catherine Chappell at 804-502-8431 or [email protected] to schedule safe visitation.
All COVID-19 positive residents and team members are quarantined and anyone who is identified as having close contact will be contacted directly.

The Virginia Department of Health (VDH) has been notified of the positive cases. The Lakewood team continues to follow all VDH recommendations to prevent the spread of the virus.
